What is Holi for?

Hi there, Here I have yet another incident to explain why my office is insane. We all know this friday is a good friday. And Holi.. its actually a festival celebrated in India as welcome festival for spring. Everyone celebrate it by splashing colors on each others. GOD... trust me ..... you can not enter your house the same way you came out. But, its defenitely not celebrated by splashing colors on each other inside the office. Understandable.... Instead of that what if we come in different colored dress.

Every morning only after I see the wardrobe, I decide what dress to wear. But I would not like some one say "wear this dress and come tomorrow". Boss.. there are more productive job to do.....And the best part is if we dont do that, we are considered to be an insane, a workaholic.
Oh god.... Today, a team is working on this mission of asking everyone to come in different colors. Man I can't stand it. Lets grow up to be mature.

But in my office, most of the people are very far from maturity. It takes more than a ladder to get there. What guys what do you say?

What it means when you tell me to be "responsible" or say that I'm "responsible":

Being "responsible" means it's my fault.

Being "responible" means if I don't do it, it doesn't get done.

Being "responsible" means I do the work and you get the credit.

Being "responsible" means you get the credit and I get the blame.

Being "responsible" means you control what happens but I pay the consequences.

Being "responsible" means I must delegate tasks to others and bear the cost when they fail.

These are all pessimistic stuff that I have taken off another site....cool

Hi fellow insanes.... just wanted to share an instance that I've come across in my office. Yet another reason to prove that this office is insane.

Let me ask this Question. Why do we sit and take few man hours in a meeting? According to me that is again for productivity. But its 100% productive only if its implemented. If we decide that this is a standard method, then we need to implement them. But you know what, its not the same here. It just means that we need to implement it for 2 weeks and then come back to the same old CRAP!!! That's what is happening now. With me my !@#$%^& decided that, a particular job will be done by 2 people at any point in time so that lot of man efforts are not put in the same SHIT. But again, 3 people are made to work on the SHIT now.

Don't you think that 2 hours spent on the meeting has gone for a big time 6! Yes... it has. On top of that we have few tumble heads sitting behind us to eat our brains. AS soon as you come to the office, you get reminded that you have not done your job(But actually its someone else's job).

Its yet another day in this insanity.

Excuses at the office!!

Here I am, RancidSpeak again...commenting on some of the absolutely, incredibly STUPID things that go on in office.

We are working in a place that employs people in shifts. So what is the normal routine? We all work in shifts, dodo!!! And these shifts are "shifted" around and all shifted people have equal oppurtunity to get into any damn shift.

Here today, we had three stupid girls from our team, come up to the spock who deals with the shift schedules and literally beg him, to put them all into the same shift!!! Whatever for, I ask?? Do they all have some really interesting thing to do together?? Together as in happy, together??

Damn it, I can be really MEAN sometimes. But seriously, one of these girls comes up and gives this really stupid excuse, saying that her mom does not like her to come in so late to work and to leave so late!!!! And by late, they mean leaving at 12:30 AM. Is that late?? Morons, why dont you try working in a night shift, get another job or simpler yet - GET MARRIED. Now, dont put ideas into my head, but seriously, will your mom complain then?? Or what shift are you in, then??

I am just starting something here....guys, can u come with some SILLY explanations that we GUYS can give to escape all these crazy shifts??
